So, i should probably be doing something besides this....like getting everything ready for the kids party...but again, minds going a mile a minute and im scatter-brained...

My Makayla...my sweet innocent Makayla is 4yrs. old. Me and this pretty lady will always have a very special bond...although she didnt know it, she helped me so much before she was born. I was 4months pregnant when Mike left for his second deployment....i was scared, sad, and nervous about the pregnancy and upcoming birth (considering i didnt even like kids...lol)....my pregnancy was super easy...other than the fact i gained 60lbs bc i constantly ate.....when i had her, it was such a bittersweet moment, finally met the baby that had been kicking me, ,keeping me up with heartburn, and making me a bag of chocolate in one sitting ;)....but Mike wasnt there...he had no idea i just had our first child....the hardest thing was not having him there...and i had to leave her at the hospital for a few days too bc her blood work was abnormal and she had jaundice (i remember walking in the nicu and she had an iv in her head and thats the first time i cried...the stress of the whole thing had finally gotten to me, not only was my husband deployed but my baby was sick and i felt so helpless!).....she came home, i think 1 wk later, and thats truely where our journey began.....I learned alot from that little girl....love, patience, etc. im not saying that it was easy and i didnt get frustrated....but she was such a blessing to us! We lived in NC for awhile when she was a baby, and i remember when she first started to crawl we would sit on the living room floor and listen to Corrine Bailey Rae, i would sing to her and she would just laugh and laugh...she was always such a happy, laid back girl! Now music and dancing are her favorite things to do And i look at her now, with her "rapunzel hair" and her baby blue eyes....her sweet disposition and caring soul....shes grown so fast! I'm so glad we were surprised by her....she has honestly changed my life!

My Kenzies gonna be 3 dec. 27th, aww Kenza Benza....is u know me, you know about my Kenza Benza.....they say no two kids are alike, and boy were "they" right! I had to be given meds to start my labor for this little miss....and from that moment, i should have known it was Mckenzie's world and we were just living in it :) My Kenz is so independent and doesnt need anyone....i was ready to get her off bottles, i just threw them out, she didnt care, she obviously didnt want those bottles either....i stressed about her going to the potty, she did it when she was ready, completely potty trained in one day! She goes off and plays, and does thing on her own, she doesnt need anyone to keep her entertained! And entertaining is exactly what she is.....test the limits, knows no boundaries.....as goofy as they come! Her high pitched laughter will get you out of a funk! Her bedtime ""I love you mom, goodnight mommy"s just melt my heart.....and the "I LUB EWE"s......

For someone who didnt even think she wanted kids, i am so blessed to have these two angels in my life....i dont know where i would be without them....i couldnt find my place, until i became a mommy :)
